How To Access The Advanced Key Settings In Windows 10
In previous Windows 10 versions, you could use the Control Panel to access the Advanced Key Settings and change the keyboard language shortcut. However, while the method to modify the Windows 10 change language shortcut remains the same, Microsoft decided to bury the options you need deep inside the Settings app, making them difficult to find.
To begin, open Settings and click or tap on Devices.

Access the Typing tab from the left sidebar menu, and then scroll to the bottom on the right-hand side. Click or tap on the Advanced keyboard settings link, on the right.

When you switch a language by using the Language bar, the keyboard layout changes to the keyboard for that language.
Use the Language bar when you:

Want to switch between languages with a Latin alphabet, such as English, Spanish, or French, and a language with a non-Latin alphabet, such as Arabic or Chinese.

Want to switch between languages with a non-Latin alphabet, such as Greek or Russian.

Prefer to use native keyboard layouts when you type in different languages that have a Latin alphabet.
After you have enabled the keyboard language that you want, open your document and place the cursor in the document where you want to start to type text in a different language.

Note: The icon is just an example it shows that English is the language of the active keyboard layout. The actual icon shown on your computer depends on the language of the active keyboard layout and version of Windows.

If you dont want a language to show up on your Samsung Keyboard, you can easily turn it off. You can even uninstall downloaded languages to free up storage space on your phone.

Does exist a way to tell Windows to switch keyboard language dynamically when I plug in a specific keyboard?
My problem is that I have an Italian keyboard layout on my laptop, and I just bought a mechanical keyboard for the office, which has United States layout totally fine to me, I’m already used to American layout because I have already another similar mechanical keyboard at home.Of course I switched the OS language layout to fit the keyboard , BUT if I unplug the keyboard from the computer, I have to switch system keyboard language layout MANUALLY…Is there a way to tell Windows to use American layout only if the external keyboard is plugged ?

If youre using a Windows computer, you can change the keyboard language by going to the Control Panel and selecting Clock, Language, and Region. Under Region and Language, click on Change keyboard or other input methods. This will bring up the Text Services and Input Languages window. Click on English under Keyboards and then click OK.
In Windows 10, you can change the language of the keyboard by pressing the Alt and Shift keys at the same time. You can use the Alt-Shift key to toggle between language modes without having to navigate to the Language Bar.
